Android Auto users can send voice messages on WhatsApp

Published

on

Android Auto is an infotainment platform that provides several services for car drivers to bring them convenience in using any functionality while driving the car without any disturbance. Now, it is easier to listen to and reply to WhatsApp messages with the support of voice messages.

Earlier, Android Auto only supported dictating the text messages to the users and messaging them as text messages by taking voice commands, but now it has started allowing users to send and listen to the voice messages via WhatsApp easily.

WhatsApp is testing the voice message feature from last year, and it was rolled out in a beta update. As it was in the beta update, obviously it was limited to some users, but now the company has rolled out the functionality for all Android Auto users.

Android Auto users have been waiting for a long time for this feature, but Google doesn’t highlight it in the changelog and brings it secretly. According to the information, the WhatsApp voice message service was started with the stable Android Auto 11.6.

However, it is not confirmed that the feature is available with the latest stable software update, so Google activates it from the server side. In case you haven’t received the feature yet, you should try to update your Android Auto app to the latest version.

To update Android Auto to the latest version, you just have to go to the Google Play Store, search for Android Auto, or go to the “My Apps” section. If it shows a new update available, tap on the update button. Alternatively, you can check it directly by clicking on this link.

Google revamped its Google Weather app to make it more user-friendly and enhance the experience by bringing with it Material You design standards.

Google’s Weather app has received a major renovation with Material You aesthetics and additional information. After being available on Pixel devices since September 2023 and Samsung Galaxy devices since December, Google finally decided to push it out to most Android devices in May 2024.

It is being reported that the new Google Weather app is appearing on many more manufacturers’ Android devices, except Pixels and Samsungs. The app has been spotted on various devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, the OnePlus Open, the Honor Magic 6 RSR, and even an older Nokia 4.2 running Android 11.

For so long, its availability was limited to specific devices; now, finally, Google has started rolling it out widely. Users who have access to the new Weather app will also have noticed a recent update for the Google app. The new app introduces a simpler layout with hourly and 10-day forecasts on a single page, replacing the multiple tabs of the old application. Earlier this year, in February, Google updated its At a Glance and Weather widget icons on Pixel smartphones.

The Weather app is not the only application that Google has brought weather data to. Previously, it was reported that the company was finally bringing real-time weather information within Google Maps; however, that has been available for years on iOS. The Google Weather app’s redesign is highly pleasing to the eyes, and the Material You Impact is quite notably on display.

A nightmare broke out; the Samsung TV Plus is not going anywhere, at least for now. A couple of days ago, Family Hub Refrigerator users received a notice that Samsung TV Plus is shutting down and will only be available in Mexico. Finally, Samsung TV Plus is still running and not going anywhere.

Previously, we reported that Samsung TV Plus would soon shut down since Samsung sent a notice to some Family Hub refrigerators and TV owners regarding the shutdown in the USA. The new report revealed that Samsung has clarified that the notice was just an error and asked users to disregard it. Samsung TV Plus said it is not going away anywhere.

This is being speculated by a post on X shared by @SamsungTVPlus stating, “Oops! You can disregard that Family Hub notification. This was an error—we’re not going anywhere!

Some users say one of the most used smart features on their Family Hub refrigerator is Samsung TV Plus; on the other side, others believe that they prefer a Samsung TV over TVs from other brands because of Samsung TV Plus. It is a completely free and ad-supported video streaming service that offers documentaries, movies, news, and TV shows across various genres.

Their service does not ask for a signup or any credit card, so you can easily start using it. The brand made it available on Galaxy smartphones, high-end refrigerators, tables, and TVs.

Google Password Manager Introduces Family Sharing Feature

Published

on

Earlier this year, Google teased about its new privacy function expansion through Google Password Sharing, which allows users to share their passwords with their family members. This feature is coming soon to devices with a new update.

According to the Android Authority, the password-sharing ability started appearing on mobile with the Google Play services with version number v24.20. However, at the same time, other reports claim that the feature has not arrived for all the devices. It indicates that the company may be providing it to the selected users, and after testing, it will be distributed. to all the users.

For starters, the Google Password Manager provides a separate and private space where you can save the passwords of different applications in one place, and you can easily open any application by tapping on it. Along with the password manager, it suggests a strong password when creating a new long ID.

Google has made it available for every Android device user via Google Play services by default, so the latest family password sharing ability will be available for every device user via the latest Google Play system update, along with the Google password manager, which is also set to roll out new material and a redesigned interface that will provide a whole.
