Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is the latest budget-friendly device from Samsung. It was launched back in December last year, and it came with Android 14 preinstalled. Now it is getting its first significant update in the form of One UI 6.1, and it will ultimately improve the utility of different pre-existing functionality.

As of writing, the locked unit of the Galaxy A15 5G has started getting new updates with the firmware version number A156USQU1BXDA. The One UI 6.1 update for this device hasn’t brought a new security patch and still uses the April 2024 patch level. The update is available on each network for locked variants and is expected to reach the unlocked variant in the next few days.

One UI 6.1 features

The One UI 6.1 feature will provide several new changes for the Galaxy devices; however, the update will not bring any Galaxy AI features, but it will provide a bunch of new features that will elevate the user experience. According to the official changelog, the latest update for the Galaxy A15 5G will get several new enhancements like battery protection, a clock, a gallery, a mobile network, and many more. For full details, you can check the official page.

If you want to use the latest changes for the devices, you will need to update the device to the latest version by simply clicking on the system software update through the system settings. However, if you don’t receive the update on your device, then you should wait for some time.
