US Unlocked Galaxy S23 receives May 2024 security patch

Samsung Galaxy S23 has already received the May 2024 security patch update in several regions, but as the device is present worldwide, due to server limitations, some units of the device are still waiting to get the update, and now, with the latest development, the device has started getting a new update in the US.

The unlocked units of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers S911U1UES3CXD7, S916U1UES3CXD7, and S918U1UES3CXD7, respectively. The update is coming in a software package of 414 MB, indicating that no significant change has arrived.

The May 2024 security patch comes with standard changes, which don’t clarify anything; they only talk about device stability improvements and bug fixes. As well, it says the new and enhanced feature is included but doesn’t clarify it.

Meanwhile, let’s go to the details about the May 2024 security patch, as per the official documentation. There are more than 50 fixes, which improve the overall security and stability of the devices.

If you are using the unlocked units of Galaxy S23 devices in the US, you can now update the device to the latest version by simply going to the software update menu from the system settings, but if the update is not available on your device yet, you have to wait for some more time.
