Samsung launched the Galaxy A14 5G smartphone back in 2023; it was a budget-friendly smartphone. With the latest development, the company has introduced its successor, the Galaxy A15; however, to introduce some new functionalities to older devices, the company has already started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for the device.

Carrier-locked Galaxy A14 5G gets the One UI 6.1 update in the US

Samsung has already introduced the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A14 5G devices, but it was limited to Asian regions. Now it has rolled out the update for the locked variant in the US. However, currently the update is spotted for the Verizon network. Users can identify the update by the firmware version number A146USQU7DXE1. It is worth noticing that the update is using the April 2024 security patch.

One UI 6.1 update: what’s new? 

With the latest One UI 6.1 update, the Galaxy A14 5G user will get several new useful features and tenants under the existing functionality. For instance, the update has brought a new battery protection feature that allows you to set the limit for changing that prevents overcharging. Now that you can customize alarms with the ability to change the backgrounds, it also brings sharing functionality for Samsung accounts. Similar to these, there are many new features that will give you a fresh feel when using the device.
