Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Galaxy S10 series of devices. Earlier,  the company introduced the same update on some other networks, and now it is gradually expanding to more device units that are locked to the Verizon network.

Samsung has already discontinued the software update for the Galaxy S10 series devices because it has reached the limit of the eligible software update policy. If you want to read it in more detail, check out this article.

Samsung initially rolled out the new update for the Galaxy S10 series in several smartphones, including US Cellular; now the devices are getting updates on the Verizon network. Users who own the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 5G have the firmware version numbers G970USQU9IXE1, G973USQU9IXE1, G975USQU9IXE1, and G977UVRUBHXE1, respectively.

According to the changelog, the latest update for the device comes with the same description: ‘The current software update provides the most recent security certificate for your device”. It may bring some changes to the device’s security to make it strong enough to fight against threats. It is worth noticing that both devices are still using old security patch updates.

If you are using the Galaxy S10 series, you can now check out the update by going to the software update menu in the system settings. If you don’t find any updates on your device, then you have to wait some more time.
