Under the ground, Samsung is also gearing up to bring a Galaxy S24’s fan edition called Galaxy S24 FE. It is expected to get a familiar camera setup.
It has already been reported that the Korean giant is looking forward to introducing the latest fan edition mode -Galaxy S24 FE, codenamed R12. The brand could bring it on the floor by the end of this year or early 2025. The new report revealed the camera setup of the forthcoming Galaxy S24 FE.
Galaxy S24 FE Main Camera Details
The Galaxy S24 FE will reportedly have a 50 MP primary camera called the ISOCELL GN3. This sensor is 1/1.57 inches in size and has 1.0μm pixels. It is expected to capture images with a maximum resolution of 8160 by 6144. Samsung has attached the same sensor to the Galaxy S24 that was also housed in the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 FE models.
Although this sensor is a proven choice, having been used in predecessor high-end Galaxy phones, Samsung has not confirmed anything regarding the Galaxy S24 FE device. This upcoming fan edition model is expected to debut later this year.
Samsung debuted its last Fan Edition model, Galaxy S23 FE, back in 2023. Now, the next-gen Galaxy S24 FE is driving in the development phase with the codename R12. Its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 FE, codenamed R11, Galaxy S21 FE, was the R9, and the initial Galaxy S20 FE was codenamed R8.
The Korean giant is working on Galaxy S24 FE, codenamed R12, with the model number SM-S721. The brand is expected to introduce the upcoming Fan Edition model later this year or maybe in early 2025. Apart from this, no other details regarding specs, features, and design have been revealed. But it will be interesting to see what new novelties the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE will bring.
