Samsung has sped up the distribution of the June 2024 security patch update to eligible Galaxy devices, but due to several limitations, the company hasn’t been successful in distributing the update to all the eligible devices. But with the gradual expansion, the Korean giant is regularly making the update available to more devices. For instance, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 FE are getting a June 2024 update in India.

Samsung has rolled out the June 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S23 Series and Galaxy S23 FE in India with the firmware number S91*BXXS5CXE7 packed in a 378 MB software package. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 FE is getting a new update with the firmware version number S711BXXS3CXE8. It also comes in a smaller software package of 261.79 MB, which indicates that the new update will not provide any significant software updates but will improve the overall performance and security of the device.
The June 2024 security patch is a standard update that brings several improvements to the strengthening of security. According to the official documentation, the latest security patch update brings nearly 60 patches to enhance the working of the device securely. Going in depth, Google has introduced 37 patches that will eradicate the issues related to security flaws. Along with this, Samsung has also introduced 22 more patches that will improve the overall system of the Galaxy device exclusively.
The June 2024 security patch update is now live for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 FE in India. If you are using any of the devices, you can now update them to the latest version by simply going to the software update menu in the system settings.
