Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ Camera Specs Leaked
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series, which includes three variants—the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra—is first in line to debut in early 2025. The Ultra variant of the series is expected to bring significant camera upgrades.
Even before any official announcement, leaks and rumors have already revealed some of the camera specifications of the Galaxy S25 series. According to a new report by GalaxyClub, the Galaxy S25 will feature a 50MP primary rear camera. On the flip side, the device will use the same 12 MP front camera as its predecessors, the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S24.
The 50MP primary camera and the 12MP selfie camera will also be used for the Galaxy S25+. whereas the ultra variant of the series is expected to feature a camera setup that includes a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
Previously, it was rumored that the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra feature the Exynos 2500 chip in most markets and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor in China and the USA. Now the new report says that similar to the Galaxy S23 series, the upcoming Galaxy S25 series will also use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor since Samsung foundry is facing yield-related issues in the mass production of the Exynos 2500, so Samsung will likely use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip in all the countries.
All three phones will likely run Android 15-based OneUI 7.1 out of the box. Samsung will promise seven years of Android OS and security patches to this series and could also bring a bunch of Galaxy AI features. Reportedly, the Galaxy S25 could have a 4,000mAh battery, the Galaxy S25+ could have a 4,900mAh battery, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra could have a 5,000mAh battery.
