Last week, the Galaxy S21 FE was spotted getting a June 2024 security patch update in the US. Later, it  rolled out the update to the Exynos variant in several countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Now,  with the latest development, the company has started rolling out the update for the Snapdragon units present in Europe.

Notably, the Galaxy S21 FE’s snapdragon variants are getting a June 2024 update with the firmware version number G990BXXS8GXF1, and with the latest update, the company has improved the device security.

The June 2024 update is a normal security patch update that is part of Google’s Android maintenance program and aims to provide fixes to improve the overall security of the devices. Therefore, the update comes with a simple changelog that doesn’t specify any significant changes for the devices.

The latest Security update fixes nearly 60 patches, which internally introduce some general fixes for the loopholes present in the software, so you are advised to always keep the device updated to the latest security update to stay protected against external threats.

If you are using the Galaxy S21 FE device in Europe, now you can update your device to the latest version by following the simple process: first go to the system settings, tap on the software update menu, update the system settings, and then tap on the software update menu. If the update is available, then tap on the download button.
