Yesterday, Samsung rolled out the June 2024 security patch update for the Asian units of Galaxy A55 devices. Now, moving forward, the company has started rolling out the update for the European and Indian units of the device.
The Galaxy A55 5G gets a new security patch within a week
Earlier this week, Samsung introduced the May 2024 security patch for the Galaxy A55 5G devices, which is not the ideal timing for the device because the device is listed under the monthly security update, so now that the device is back on track, the company has rolled out the new June 2024 security patch update within a week.
The Galaxy A55 5G is getting a fresh June 2024 update in Europe with the firmware version number A556BXXS3AXF2, while the India variant getting the update with version number A556EXXS3AXF3. The device gets a fresh set of patches, which will ensure that improves the overall performance.
Going into the details, the June 2024 security patch will provide nearly 60 fixes, whereas Google has introduced 37 patches that will enhance the Android internal system. Along with this, Samsung has also introduced 22 more patches that will improve the overall functioning of the devices.
