Google Integrates Quick Share into Native Files App

Google is undoubtedly working to provide advantages for Android device users, and to make that possible, the company doesn’t hesitate to borrow useful applications for the Android ecosystem. QuickShare is a recent example that is applying to all Android smartphones as a native file-sharing application.

For starters, Quick Share was a stock application from Samsung that allows Galaxy users to share different files, including audio, video, documents, and more, across the Galaxy ecosystem. After analyzing the capabilities, Google borrowed the application from Samsung and applied it to all Android devices.

Now, taking advantage of these advantages, Google is planning to integrate Quick Share with its native file application. According to the report shared by Android Authority, Google is now planning to convince users by giving the dedicated Quick Share button on the front screen when you open Google Files. As of now, the Files app provides a document scanner at the right bottom of the application, but according to the report, the company will provide the Quick Share button immediately below the scanner button.

When you hit the Quick Share button, they will get quick access to the tab where the smartphone will start searching for all the compatible devices. Once searched, you can request to connect it and then share files to browse the devices easily. It is worth noticing that the functionality is currently in the development stage and is expected to be available in the coming days.
