Samsung’s 2022 Rugged device gets July 2024 patch in Europe

Recently, Samsung introduced the July 2024 security patch for its latest Rugged devices, the Galaxy XCover7 smartphones. Now, it has started rolling out the update to the Galaxy XCover6 Pro devices.

Notably, the Galaxy XCover6 Pro, with firmware number G736BXXS7EXF4, is getting a July 2024 security patch. With the latest update, the company will provide some security enhancements to the devices.

According to the official documentation, the July 2024 acuity patch will include more than  60 patches. Google has introduced 27 patches dedicated to enhancing Android OS-related functions. Along with this, Samsung will also provide more patches that offer its users more protection against external threats.

Moreover, the update may also provide new features and enhancements for internal functionality, which may offer seamless services and consistent device performance. So, if you are having any issues while using the smartphone, then you should go for the latest update.

The Galaxy XCover6 Pro arrived back in 2022. The drive came with Android 12. At the latest, it has grabbed two major software updates, Android 13 and Android 14, and it is still eligible to get more major updates in the future.
