Samsung introduced the July 2024 update to many Galaxy devices, including flagship and midrange devices; now, the company has started updating its foldable smartphones, including Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices.

Notably, the July 2024 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are getting a new update in the US, and it is spotted for both locked and unlocked variants.

Users who own the locked variants can identify the latest update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 with the firmware version number F926USQS7IXFC and F711USQS8IXFC, respectively. Specifically, the update is spotted on T-Mobile and US Cellular and is expected to be available on more carriers in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the unlocked units of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 can identify the latest update by the firmware version number F926U1UES7IXFC and  F711U1UES8IXFC, respectively. 

The July 2024 update is a gentle security patch designed by Google to address issues related to the security vulnerabilities found in the last software updates.

Along with this, Samsung has also introduced several more patches that introduce new features and enhancements that make Galaxy smartphones less vulnerable. If you are also conscious about data safety, then you should keep your device up to date.
