Samsung has rolled out the July 2024 security patch for the unlocked units of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra with the firmware version number S921U1UES3AXFC, S926U1UES3AXFC and S928U1UES3AXFC respectively.

The latest update for the Galaxy S24 is coming in a general software package of 450.19MB. This indicates that the update will not provide any major changes or new additions to the device.

The July 2024 update specifically provides improvements to the internal functioning of the devices, which will not make any visual impact on the user; the software aims to offer security-related additions that will improve the mechanics of the device to protect it against external threats.

If you are using the Galaxy S24 device in the US, you should start getting notifications about the new update’s availability. Alternatively, users can check the update manually by going to the software update menu from the system settings. In case the update hasn’t arrived on your device, it is recommended that you wait for some more time.
