The Samsung One UI 7 update will be a game-changer for Galaxy users, especially for those who appreciate the devices’ UI elements.
Samsung has recently rolled out the One UI 6.1 and One UI 6.1.1 updates for its eligible Galaxy devices. These are the incremental updates that only added some new features for the devices; no single UI changes have arrived, but fortunately, the One UI 7.0 will provide some fresh changes for the devices.
Yesterday, we reported some UI changes that will be applied to the notification panel and app icon changes. Now, a new report highlights more details about them.
One UI 7 takes UI element design inspiration from competitors
Samsung is focusing on levelling up the user interface experience in the Galaxy device. To do that, the company reportedly welcomes several UI elements designed similarly to those of its competitors.
According to the report, One UI 7 will provide a rounded icon pack and 3D-looking icons, just like macOS or visionOS. A new Quick action on the lock screen is an iOS copycat. The Gallery app icon has a white background and rainbow-type flowers.
The notification panel has been changed to a two-page panel, with one panel on the left being a notification only and the other for a quick toggle. Xiaomi’s HyperOS inspire this design. The UI changes were also applied to the camera App. Here, all the quick camera settings options were moved to the bottom.
