Google Maps update brings new real-time reporting feature for Android Auto

Google has recently announced some new features for Google Maps to unlock the potential of the navigation partner on Android Auto. According to the official announcement, Android Auto users will soon get the real-time reporting feature, where users will be reporting about crashes, congestion, lane closers, objects on the road, roadworks and stalled vehicles.

In addition, the company is also integrating AI with Google Maps to respond quickly to drivers on narrow roads. The AI will calculate the distance between buildings and paved sections through satellite images to do this.

The availability of these features is currently limitedly announced for India, but it is expected that this feature will be available to more countries in the coming days.
