Samsung has already introduced the July 2024 security patch update for smartphones. Now, it is turning its focus towards rolling out the update for the Galaxy Tablets. Initially, it made the update live for the Galaxy Tab S9, and now the Galaxy Tab S8 has also started grabbing the latest security patch in Europe.

Samsung has rolled out a July 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S8 in Europe. Users who own the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers X706BXXS8CXG4, X806BXXS8CXG4, and X906BXXS8CXG4, respectively.

The July 2024 update is a normal security patch update that doesn’t significantly change the devices, but it will dedicately bring some security enhancements.

According to the official documentation, the July 2024 security patches introduced more than 60 fixes, 27 of which were introduced by Google, and 33 patches were added by Samsung to exclusively improve the security of Galaxy devices.

Moreover, the update may also provide some new changes that can improve the function of the devices, aiming to enhance performance and stability. So, if you want consistent performance, then you need to install the latest update via the system update menu.
