Samsung has started rolling out the August 2024 security patch outside the US, and in the latest development, the Galaxy S24 has been spotted receiving the latest security patch update in South Korea.
Users who own the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware versions S921NKSS3AXGJ, S926NKSS3AXGJ, and S928NKSS3AXGJ.
However, with the latest security patch, the device will not receive any significant changes, but it will provide some improvement in its workings. Meanwhile, if you’re a One UI fan, then you have to wait for the next update, which is expected to bring some of the new features with One UI 6.1.1.
Installation
Samsung usually sends users a notification when the update is available on their devices. When you tap on it, it redirects you to the software update menu directly.
If you haven’t received any update notification yet, you can also check the update manually by going to the software menu from the system settings.
