Samsung Galaxy Phone Display Replacement Policy for Green Line Issue

These days, green line issues on the displays of some Samsung Galaxy devices are a nightmare. Users have complained about getting green lines even when there’s no physical or water damage, though. On that note, Samsung offers a free solution for some specific flagship Galaxy models in order to solve the green line issue.
Samsung Display Replacement Policy for Galaxy Phones with Green Line Defect
Samsung has addressed the issues for the Galaxy devices facing the green line issue and issued a one-time free-of-charge (FOC) solution.
When asked the Samsung Support team, it confirms that Samsung has significantly marked to consider the green line issue and offered a solution, even if the Galaxy device is not in its warranty period and there is no physical or water damage.

This solution consists of a one-time free replacement of the OCTA assembly, battery, and repair kit on some selective Samsung Galaxy models, and this offer is currently valid until September 30, 2024, while previously this replacement offer was limited until April 30, 2024.
Samsung’s screen replacement policy is applicable for some specific Galaxy models:
- Galaxy S20/S20+/S20 Ultra
- Galaxy Note 20/20 Ultra,
- Galaxy S21/S21+/S21 Ultra,
- Galaxy S21 FE [Exynos/Snapdragon]
- Galaxy S22 Ultra.
However, it’s important to highlight that the Galaxy S22 and S22+ models are not included within the aforementioned device list. Plus, the replacement policy is only applicable for Galaxy devices that are within 3 years of their actual date of purchase.
