Samsung has released the August 2024 update to these Galaxy devices till now [List]

Samsung initiated the August 2024 update with the Galaxy M55 and gradually expanded it to more Galaxy smartphones. As the company doesn’t follow any pattern for the security patch, it has directly jumped to some of the flagship devices belonging to the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series.

August 2024 update doesn’t bring One UI 6.1.1

As Samsung usually introduce its latest One UI x.1.1 update for screen devices, including Galaxy Tablets and Galaxy Foldables, it was previously expected that the company may introduce the One UI 6.1.1 with the August 2024 security patch.

However, Samsung isn’t ready to introduce a significant device update. Regarding the availability of the next One UI, we may expect a new update next week.

Therefore, the August 2024 security patch doesn’t bring any new changes for the devices, but as a new security patch, it will introduce some internal function enhancements that will improve the overall security of the Galaxy devices.
