Samsung has finally started the August 2024 security update rollout proceedings for its Galaxy Z series models, including the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 in Canada, while the devices have already received the update in South Korea. The August 2024 security update started rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold6, and Flip6 carries the F956WVLU1AXH7 and F741WVLU1AXH7 software versions currently in Canada.
Meanwhile, this security update has arrived with several fixes that significantly resolve all the security-related vulnerabilities for certain Galaxy device services, including improvements to the device’s overall security, KnoxService, Galaxy Watches, and more. This in turn offers a safe and secure environment to the users while also keeping the device protected from various malicious attacks.
In addition, it further brings plenty of key enhancements to the device’s functionality alongside adding stability, reliability, and performance optimizations that allow users to have a more stable, smooth, and optimized performance. Thus, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 owners can now install the latest update by navigating to the Settings app.
