One UI 6.1.1 Finally Fixes a Year-Long Annoying Problem

Samsung started expanding the One UI 6.1.1 update to its older flagship Galaxy devices. As expected, the update brings lots of new features, improvements, and tweaks. The notable part of the update is that it brings a fix for a Material You theme issue.
Samsung Galaxy users have been facing an issue regarding the Material You theme at least for a year. Now finally, the One UI 6.1.1 version will solve the issue.
Right after installing the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update, Galaxy users started experiencing an annoying issue due to which the Material You theme did not work as expected within Google applications. While choosing a colour from the palette, or in case the system automatically selected one to match the background, it was not applied to Google apps.
One UI 6.1.1 Solves Material You Theming Problems
Now the One UI 6.1.1 update brings a fix for the long-running issue. It’s being speculated by a post on Reddit shared by a user, which confirmed that after installing the update, the Material You theme now works properly within Google applications.
Apart from addressing a long-standing aesthetic issue, the One UI 6.1.1 update also brings noticeable and convenient new features to enhance the user experience for the Galaxy S24 series. Currently, the brand has rolled out the update for theGalaxy S24 series, but it’s expected that it will expand the reach of the update widely to more eligible Galaxy devices soon.
