Samsung to Expand One UI 6.1.1 to 2023 Galaxy Devices in Canadian Market Soon
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series has already received the One UI 6.1.1 update in most regions. Now the 2023 Galaxy device users are waiting for the update.
Recently, the Galaxy S23 and S23 FE received the One UI 6.1.1 update in Korea. Samsung has not revealed the official timeline for the release of the One UI 6.1.1 update for the 2023 Galaxy devices for other regions. Now Canadian Telus suggests a specific date for the update release.
If the report is to be believed, on September 17, the 2023 Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 lineup, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5, will receive the One UI 6.1.1 update. Noticeably, the timeline is just for the Canadian market.
The company released the Galaxy S24 One UI 6.1.1 update worldwide at the same time; it may not be any different for the 2023 flagship.
However, the One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S24 series was released in the Canadian market a day after other markets, so the Galaxy S23 and other devices could get the update in some countries on September 16.
It seems that Samsung will finish the One UI 6.1.1 rollout for all eligible Galaxy devices as soon as possible since the next major iteration, One UI 7, is already in the works. Recently, it was reported that Samsung could take more time to release the One UI 7 beta. It will be interesting to see actually what will happen next and when the One UI 7 beta program will start.
