Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ could feature double-layer camera rings
Samsung Galaxy S25 series is a hot topic among Galaxy enthusiasts. The Base and Plus variants of the series are expected to feature unique, double-layer camera rings.
Undoubtedly, the Samsung Galaxy S series devices are known for their premium camera specifications. The main legacy the company is actively working on is to offer a new camera setup for its upcoming Galaxy S25 series.
Several times the Galaxy S25 Ultra camera specifications have been revealed. Now a new report revealed the camera design of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24+ models, according to which both devices could feature double-layer camera rings.
The newly leaked renders (Ice Universe) suggest that the standard and plus variants will feature a unique double-layer camera ring design. The design seems to differ from the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s camera rings. However, the reason behind the purpose of this change is unclear; it could be purely aesthetic or have functional benefits. It’s expected that the top glass design may also be redesigned to match the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Since Samsung has yet to officially confirm this leaked design, for now, we can’t predict how beneficial the new change will be. In case the ring design doesn’t bring a functional benefit, then it will just create space for dust to accumulate around the cameras. Due to the design, protective cases might also have difficulty providing a snug fit. It will remain to see whether this reported double-layer camera ring will come into existence.
