A Samsung account is the first mandatory thing to use any Galaxy device. From now on, Galaxy users can only use their Galaxy devices if they have a Samsung account. Here’s the reason behind this requirement.

Creating a personal Samsung account is mandatory since it’s the new requirement to create an account for the Galaxy Store as well. Two weeks ago, Samsung confirmed that from September 25, 2024, to use the Galaxy Store app and service, users are required to log in with their Samsung Account first.

Finally, it is September 25, and you must have your Samsung account to avoid the inconvenience because of new requirements. However, this was not necessary until now, so users could update the pre-installed system apps and access a large selection of apps from the Galaxy Store without a Samsung account.

A Samsung account is a membership service that lets you access and use several Samsung services and features on Galaxy devices. So now, if users want to use the Galaxy Store on their Galaxy devices seamlessly, they must log into the account.

The above discussion suggests that using a Galaxy device entirely without even any inconvenience, users must have a Google account and a Samsung account at the same time. Although a few users may not appreciate this requirement, for Samsung it means more customer data.
