Samsung has been working on Android 14-based One UI 7 internally for so long. Now it started testing the One UI 7 internally for the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The current, latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. The next major Android OS update, Android 15-based One UI 7, will be its first major OS update.
Recently, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 running One UI 7 was spotted on the GeekBench. Now a first One UI 7 internal test build is spotted on the test server for the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
A tipster, Tarun Vats, hinted by sharing a post on X that finally the first One UI 7 internal build for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 came into existence. The spotted build number appears as F741BXXU1BXIB.
Although several times the One UI 7 internal test build has been spotted online for various Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, and more. This is the first time when the internal test build appeared for the Galaxy foldable phone.
This spotted internal build for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 hinted at the near release. However, Samsung has yet to release the exact timeline for the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta release. It’s expected that the company could open the beta program sometime in early October. It remains to see how much more time the company will take to release the One UI 7 beta update.
