One UI 6.1.1 for Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ Expands to More Regions
Samsung brought its Fan Edition tablets—the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+—last year with lots of new and improved features. Meanwhile, the tablets have already received the One UI 6.1.1 update in South Korea; they are now getting the update in more regions, including Europe, Latin America, and the US.
The company is now extending the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 FE+ to more regions, like the US, Europe, and Latin America.
As of now, the One UI 6.1.1 build for the European and Latin American variants of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ (for both the Wi-Fi and 5G units) can be identified with the same X51*XXU5BXHB and X61*XXU5BXHB firmware versions.
Meanwhile, the same update is now available for the carrier-locked (T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Spectrum Mobile, and Verizon) Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE in the US, carrying the X518USQU5BXHB software version.
Feature-wise, the One UI 6.1.1 update doesn’t feature some major features while also excluding the latest and much improved Galaxy AI features. It comes with better communication features in order to provide seamless communication among people of different languages, brings certain health-related features for maintaining proper health and wellness, and even integrates certain improved productivity features.
In addition, the update further integrates the August 2024 security patch that aims to offer a more safe and secure environment, resolves certain known issues, brings stability and performance optimizations to the device’s behavior, and delivers new features all while protecting the device from external harms.
