Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra debuted with Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch before expanding this build to the other older Galaxy smart watches. Although the One UI 6 Watch is still running in its beta stage, the eighth iteration of the One UI 6 Watch beta is now rolling out for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic in the US.

The company announced that it’s rolling out a new beta version, the One UI 6 Watch beta 8, to the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic, while the new update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and 5 series will follow shortly.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic began receiving the new One UI 6 Watch Beta 8 and have a ZXJ5 firmware version and integrate the October 2024 security patch.

While the newest beta focuses on improving and enhancing overall system performance, it introduces improvements to the overall system stability, optimizes system performance, improves battery consumption issues, improves network interoperability issues, and brings several other relevant improvements to offer a much better and smoother experience to the users.

It’s considered that the newer beta version of One UI 6 Watch primarily focuses on certain refinements to the overall functionality of the device, all while providing a better and more stable software experience. Now that Samsung has released a number of beta versions for its One UI 6 Watch build, Galaxy fans are hoping that the company will now avoid the repetition of beta versions and release the stable One UI 6 Watch update soon.
