Generative AI Wallpapers Now Available on Samsung’s 2024 TV Lineup

Samsung Electronics launched its Generative Wallpaper feature for the 2024 Neo QLED and QLED models, powered by Tizen OS.

The Korean tech giant introduced the Generative AI Wallpaper feature for particular smart TVs. This new AI feature will be available for 2024 Neo QLED and QLED models in a few regions, which are as follows:

  • South Korea, North America, and Europe

Almost all Samsung Smart TVs of 2024 are eligible for the Generative AI Wallpaper feature. The feature will be available through Samsung’s Ambient Mode, which transforms the TV into a canvas for curated visuals, including essential details, for instance, weather updates, news, and time.

Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, stated, “Generative Wallpaper brings a new dimension of personalization to our customers’ screens, allowing them to customize their TVs in a way that truly reflects their style.”

The company will offer premium visuals through Generative Wallpaper that seamlessly integrates with home decor and creates a welcoming and immersive atmosphere. Users can easily access the feature by simply navigating to the ‘Ambient Mode’ menu, selecting the button, and choosing from themes such as ‘Happy Holiday’ or ‘Party.’

Samsung’s advanced AI then provides excellent 4K visuals that harmonize with the user’s home environment. Generative Wallpaper will debut this month in South Korea, North America, and Europe, with a global rollout planned for 2025.
