Samsung Galaxy A56 could feature a 12MP selfie camera instead of 32MP

Samsung is working on a new mid-range smartphone named Galaxy A56 5G, which is expected to feature a 12MP selfie and a 50MP main camera.
Under the hood, the Korean tech giant is gearing up to expand its A-series ways by debuting the latest smartphone, the Galaxy A56 5G. The smartphone has already been spotted on Geekbench, which revealed that it will be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset.
Recently, Samsung has already announced a mid-range Exynos 1580 chipset for the forthcoming Galaxy A56. Now a new report is hinting at the camera setup of the device, which includes a 12MP selfie camera. Ritually, Samsung has offered a 32MP selfie camera to its Galaxy A series smartphones for so long, but this time it could ditch its ritual by offering a new 12MP sensor.
According to the report from GalaxyClub, the company is not looking forward to upgrading the rear camera for the coming Galaxy A56, as it could feature a 50MP primary sensor similar to its predecessor.
The camera arrangement of the device could include a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro lens. On the front side, a 12 MP sensor will be housed instead of a 32 MP selfie camera. Somewhere, it seems to fall as compared to its predecessor.
However, Samsung has yet to reveal the camera setup of the device officially, so it remains to see whether the rumored camera setup will come into existence.
