Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra getting new software update in October 2024

Samsung debuted the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra with Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch. Now that Samsung has released the Stable One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the company has now started rolling out a new update for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra that brings stability and reliability for the users.

While the One UI 6 Watch has now reached its final (stable) version, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra booth with Wear OS 5 with One UI 6 Watch and now receiving a new software update in Canada.

The latest update for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra carries the L315FXXU1AXIA and L705FXXU1AXIA firmware versions, while it roughly measures 183 MB. However, the update even integrates the June 2024 security patch.

According to the changelog, the latest update doesn’t mention any major changes or features; it does bring several key improvements for the overall stability and security while also introducing a much more reliable experience to the users. This in turn will significantly help Galaxy users to have a more stable, reliable, and secure user experience while also keeping their watches safe from certain external attacks or harms.

Moreover, the newer update for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra is now live in Canada, while it will follow the other eligible regions soon, and users can download the latest version on their smartwatches when available.
