October 2024 security update now available for Galaxy S21 FE and A53 in Canada

Samsung is still continuing with the October 2024 security update rollout for the Galaxy phones and tablets, as the company has covered almost all the major regions; it’s now expanding the security patch to the other continents. Thus, the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy A53 are getting the security update in Canada.

The October 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE can be identified with the G990WVLSDGXJ2 firmware version, while the Galaxy A53 has the A536WVLSCEXJ1 version number.

While the software updates are usually helpful in improving the overall functionality of the device, the October security patch is packed with several key improvements for the device security and being a security and bug fixing update; it significantly fixes all the security-related vulnerabilities and issues to offer a safe user experience.
