Galaxy S25 Slim Faces Technical Hurdles as Samsung Strives for Sleeker Design
Samsung is yet to debut its original Galaxy S25 series and already budding another variant under the same series called Galaxy S25 Slim, but the company is facing technical issues.
Recently, the forthcoming Galaxy S25 Slim was spotted online and made its existence official. Reportedly, the device will debut by the end of next year and is expected to feature a 200MP lens. Samsung is dealing with difficulties in developing the Galaxy S25 Slim model due to supply chain and component issues, which forced the company to leave the inclusion of particular advanced technologies in the device.
If the report is to be believed, due to technical issues, Samsung could avoid the next-gen PCB for the Galaxy S25 Slim and use a new kind of battery in the limited edition smartphones, while capacity improvements are unlikely.
According to the Jukanlosreve, the forthcoming Galaxy S25 Slim development is facing challenges because of delays in the mass production of thinner circuit boards. It’s expected that this could prevent the inclusion of a planned battery improvement, which would have involved a slimmer battery with increased height and width.
Samsung could use a new cell and material for the Galaxy S25 Slim battery, which helps to reduce the device’s overall thickness. On the comparison side, Apple is also budding its slim model called the iPhone 17 Slim, which also failed to increase battery capacity through thinner substrates with new materials and techniques.
