Samsung Galaxy A55 Seen Running Android 15, Hints at Early One UI 7 Beta Testing
Samsung has already started testing Android 15-based One UI 7 on its mid-range Galaxy devices; now a new device, the Galaxy A55, is spotted running the latest OS.
Samsung debuted the Galaxy A55 early this year in March on the Android 14 and promised four major OS updates. This means Android 15 will be its first major OS update out of four.
Now the Galaxy A55 is spotted running Android 15 on the Geekbench benchmark, suggesting that the device owners will get the chance to experience the One UI 7.0 beta program. A well-reliable tipster, Tarun Vats, shares a post on X, revealing the geekbench scores of the Galaxy A55 running Android 15. According to the Geekbench database, the single-core of the device scored 1161 and the multi-core scored 3369.
On the comparison side, the Galaxy A55 Single-Core scored 1146, and the Multi-Core scored 3420 in Geekbech testing when it ran Android 14 initially. These scores suggest that in Android 15, the single-core score boosts slightly but falls in the multi-core score.
Samsung is highly predicted to start the One UI 7 beta program this week but has yet to reveal the official release date. It remains to see how much more time the company will take to start the beta program and whether the leaked scores will remain the same or change.
