Google revamps the Circle to Search feature available for Galaxy users

Samsung initially introduced the Circle to Search by Google feature on the Galaxy S24 series and later expanded it to more devices; now Google has revamped the feature, which is now available for Galaxy users.

Currently, the update is gradually rolling out to limited batches, and it will soon be available for everyone. This update is part of the latest update of the Google app, which aims at upgrading the search experience.

The new update revamped the look of the Circle to Search feature, as the search bar now has a rounded box around it, with buttons surrounding the search bar and elements, which makes it a more modern and organized look.

Previously the Translate and Google Lens buttons were part of the search bar; now, with the Circle to Search update, they moved to an app drawer. You can easily access these features by tapping on the new app drawer button instead of having them directly in the search bar. However, the extra tap seems a little inconvenient since it consumes more time, but the drawer will make the search bar clean and more appealing.

However, the update does not introduce any change for the Music Search button, but it’s expected that Google could soon offer more customization for which shortcuts appear. Although Google has yet to reveal anything official regarding this, it remains to be seen exactly what new customization changes the upcoming update will bring to enhance the user experience.
