Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra getting a new firmware update after a long time
Samsung has ultimately ended the beta series for the Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch version for the Galaxy watches, beginning with the Galaxy Watch 6 series, followed by the Galaxy Watch 5, and then for the Watch 4 series, and it will be expanded to more older watches soon. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 7 owners have already received a new security update; now, the Galaxy Watch Ultra too joins the list.
Samsung rolls out November 2024 Security update for Galaxy Watch Ultra
After a long wait of over 4 months, the Galaxy Watch Ultra owners have finally started receiving the newer software update that significantly integrates the new November 2024 security patch, currently being distributed in South Korea.
The update has been released with the L705NKOU1AXK6 firmware version and measures 245.73 MB. Although the latest software doesn’t mention any major features or changes, it brings overall stability to the system performance that helps users to have a stable performance for a smoother user experience.
Additionally, the latest firmware update for the Galaxy Watch Ultra further packs various other suitable bug fixes and enhancements while also improving all the exciting features that are powered by the Galaxy AI, including energy score metrics, better yet advanced sleep apnea, personalized health insights, improved sleeping patterns, custom workout sessions, and much more.
Lastly, integrating the November 2024 security patch, the update eventually adds an extra layer of security while also improving the overall security of the device. Thus, it helps users to get a secure user experience and efficient functionality.
