Samsung’s flagship S series, including the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23, hit the November 2024 security update in different parts of the world. Now, the models have finally started receiving the security update in Canada.
The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series are getting a new software update that integrates the November 2024 security patch in the Canadian market. For S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, the build has S921WVLU4AXK4, S926WVLU4AXK4, and S928WVLU4AXK4 firmware versions.
On the opposite side, the Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup, the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra units are also receiving the same update and can be identified with the S911WVLU5CXJR, S916WVLU5CXJR, and S918WVLU5CXJR version numbers.
Although the security update doesn’t mention any major features or changes, it significantly packs certain important improvements to the system security that address all the security vulnerabilities to offer a secure user experience, all while protecting the device against unwanted threats.
In addition to security, the update further adds stability and reliability to the system behavior, brings several performance optimizations, applies the latest security patches, and delivers much-improved features that will lead to a smooth, stable, and optimized experience for the users.
In contrast, while Samsung is rushing to provide the November 2024 security patch to all the Galaxy devices, it seems like the company is all set to begin the long-awaited One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series in the US, Germany, and South Korea.
