Samsung Galaxy fans rejoiced with the newest Android 15-based One UI 7 beta release, as the latest version significantly embraces the most innovative and AI-powered platform in Samsung’s One UI history ever. Meanwhile, the post-update of the Calendar app apparently reveals a much-improved app icon spotted on devices running One UI 7 beta.

Currently, the One UI 7 beta program is only open for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series models in selective countries; however, right after installing the latest One UI 7 version, the redesigned Calendar app icon has been spotted receiving a new software update that brings visual changes to the app icon.

Alternatively, the new update for the Samsung Calendar app comes with the 12.6.00.37 firmware version that can be installed via the Galaxy Store. Basically, the latest version brings an updated Calendar app icon that looks visibly different from the previous one. Also, the new icon has Day mentioned right above the Date that offers a more useful experience.

Moreover, the recent update for the Calendar app further features a new countdown feature that will eventually allow Galaxy users to add their friend’s or family’s birthday countdown directly to their phone’s home screen in the form of a widget to get a reminder before a birthday shoutout.

It also brings the capability to drag and move an event directly to the desired date while also adding various significant improvements to the overall functionality. Thus, for now, Galaxy S24 owners who are testing the One UI 7 beta can easily install and rock the new and updated Samsung Calendar app on their devices.
