Samsung with the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 on Galaxy S25 will introduce two key features: the Now Bar and Personal Data Engine.
Regarding both of these features, Samsung stated that currently they are in the beta testing phase and will launch soon with the Galaxy S25.
Samsung, with the One UI 7 beta, introduced a convenient feature called Now Bar, and now it is planning to enhance it to give key live information at a glance whether you asked for it or not. According to the blog post, Samsung is working on two key AI-powered novelties: the Personal Data Engine and Now Bar.
Personal Data Engine will enhance user privacy; it is a security tool that improves Knox security to offer “on-device, cross-app personal data protection.” It builds upon existing encryption by incorporating post-quantum cryptography, which will lead to safeguarding user data against future threats posed by quantum computers.
Whereas the Now Bar will personalize the lock screen by showcasing randomly used applications and daily actions without even asking. It uses data already available on the phone to proactively suggest relevant queries or actions based on your real-time activity.
The Personal Data Engine will add an extra layer of privacy and protection, and the Now Bar will make your device more intuitional.
