One UI 7 Quick Panel Gets a Fresh Look and Features

Samsung has introduced many new customization features with its new UI iteration for the Galaxy devices. Now, with the latest One UI 7 update, the company has brought more new additional options to the existing functionalities to enhance the overall user experience of the devices. In this article, we will explore the Quick panel change in detail and find out how much it has changed over One UI 6.1.
One UI 7 have separate panel for notification and quick settings
Samsung One UI 7 Quick Panel has several new changes & features for Galaxy users to control the Quick settings more conveniently and notifications with more convenience. Now with the One UI 7 update, the user can check the notification by swiping down from the top left part of the screen, and if you want to access the Quick settings, then swipe down from the right part of the screen. It is worth noticing that you can also directly jump from the quick panel or notification panel by swiping left or right from there.

How to switch the One UI 7 Quick Panel interface to One UI 6.1?
In case you don’t want to use the new interface, you have the option to switch back to the One UI 6.1-based Quick panel by following these steps:
- First, swipe down the Quick panel.
- Then tap on the pencil icon or edit icon.
- Here tap on the panel setting from the top left corner.
- Now select the Together option.
- Done. It will reset to the older interface where you will get the Quick panel and notification in a single panel.

It is worth noticing that when you are using the old interface, then you will get more options in the panel settings menu, such as brightness control availability, device control, and media output button show or hide.
Rearrange or customize the Quick Panel setup
With One UI 7, users have more freedom to arrange the contents of the Quick panel according to their preferences. For example, you can move the quick connectivity options, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, from the middle to the bottom or edit the other quick controls and rearrange their order for more convenience.
How to customize or rearrange the quick panel
To customize the Quick panel, you just need to follow these simple steps:
- First, open the Quick panel.
- Now tap on the pencil icon.
- Then you can move the icons or widgets according to your preferred
- Once arranged, tap on done on the top right corner.

New Music & Sound Control
In the previous version, One UI 6.1, we only had one option to control the brightness-related settings from the dedicated toggle, but now with the new update, users will have the option to control the volume of media from the quick panel itself.

Apart from this, with the new version, you can easily control these widgets with more options in one hold and click.
New Animations
With the latest update, there are many visual changes. Now the software has brought more accurate animations that will also be applied on the Quick panel for a more enhanced experience while opening it while swiping down and also appear smoother when you swipe left or right to switch between the notification quick settings panel. Additionally, it also smoothens the animation of opening settings through different quick settings.
Quick Music Widget
Samsung has added a new widget to the Quick panel for music lovers; it will provide easy access to music. Here with the One UI 7, when you tap on the play last option in the media output, it will play the last song that was played via any music streaming app or offline music app. With this widget you can also control the connected devices that are getting music out from the device.
