With the One UI 7 beta 2 already delivered for the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung is continuing with the December 2024 security update for its Galaxy devices in different parts of the world. Among other models, the security patch now reaches the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy S21 FE units in the US.
Users need to note that Samsung’s December 2024 security update is now available for the Verizon carrier-locked Galaxy Tab S10+, Galaxy S21 FE 5G, and Galaxy S21 FE 5G (2022) units in the US; thus, it will get expanded to more eligible regions shortly.
Simultaneously, the update for the Galaxy Tab S10+ can be recognized with the X828USQU2AXK8 version number, and the Galaxy S21 FE 5G comes with the G990USQSEGXK3, while the Galaxy S21 FE (2022) units hold the G990U2SQSCGXK3 firmware version.
The Android security bulletin, however, only consists of several improvements for the overall system security; it even addresses the bugs and other relevant vulnerabilities that were highlighted in the previous version that offers a more safe and secure user experience while also protecting the device against potential threats and attacks. Thus, leading to a bug-free and smoother functionality.
On the other side, the update further brings stability to the system behavior while also adding various performance optimizations to the overall functionality, applying the latest security patches, and helping users to have more improved features that ensure a better, stable, and much more optimized user experience with enhanced functionality and performance.
