Samsung is working on Galaxy F16 5G to launch this year

Samsung is working on expanding its Galaxy F-series by debuting a new smartphone Galaxy F16 5G and it has already made its reach on the Geekbench database. 

Samsung is developing a new smartphone, the Galaxy F16 5G, under the hood, which is spotted on the Geekbench database with the dedicated model number SM-E166P, as reported by one of our colleagues, MySmartprice.

According to the database, the single-core of the device scored 678, whereas the multi-core scored 1,902. Samsung will pack it with an M16XM motherboard and an octa-core SoC with a Mali G57 MC2 GPU. The chipset will feature two cores at 2.40GHz and six cores at 2.0GHz.

The listing revealed that the coming Galaxy F16 5G will be powered with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and will run Android 14 out of the box. Samsung will make the device available in an up-to-8GB RAM variant. The listing has not revealed any other specifications of the device now, but it’s expected that soon more details will be revealed. 

Apart from this, it is also working on more mid-range devices to launch this year, including the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36. Currently, Samsung is all set to launch the next-generation flagship Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 January in San Jose, California.
