The Samsung Galaxy S21 series’ fan edition model, the Galaxy S21 FE is getting the January 2025 security update, which is currently available on the Dish Wireless and AT&T networks in the US.
Meanwhile, the update for the carrier-locked Galaxy S21 FE phones can be recognized with the G990USQSEGXL4 firmware version.
Although according to the details for the January 2025 security bulletin shared by Samsung, it’s clear that the new patch is packed with plenty of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed within the previous version that offers users a more safe and secure experience and even protects the device against external threats.
Alternatively, the update further acknowledges issues from both Google and Samsung. It adds stability and reliability to the system behavior, brings certain performance optimizations, applies the latest security patches, and delivers more improved features that significantly provide a much enhanced, optimized, and stable user experience and functionality.
