Samsung is, of course, among a few big names that always strives to deliver the most convenient experience to the Galaxy audience, with the new One UI 7 being the perfect example. Recently, the company launched a new program, aiming for long-term continuity of its Galaxy smartphones.
Previously only available in South Korea, Samsung begins an all-new year-round “Galaxy Trade-In” program that will significantly allow users to sell their used Galaxy smartphones at any time of the year on Samsung.com, even if they do not purchase any new product in exchange. Current eligible devices include Galaxy S23, S22, S21, S20 series, Z Fold5, Fold4, Fold3, Flip5, Flip4, and Flip3. May vary by country.
Samsung extremely believed in the preservation of the great value of its Galaxy devices in the market, and thus to raise the exclusivity of the products, the company unlocked a new method that will eventually contribute to the circular economy. Alternatively, the entire trade-in process will be handled smoothly while also keeping proper security at the time of transaction.
Substantially, Galaxy customers who are willing to sell their used smartphones (only the applicable ones) will receive the compensation amount according to their product’s condition. Simultaneously, the latest Trade-In Program is currently continuing in Korea (as Galaxy Easy Compensation) and has now started in the France region, beginning today and will expand to more regions by this year.
