Samsung has finally concluded its Galaxy Unpacked event that introduced the most astonishing series, the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra to offer a more intuitive and effortless mobile AI experience. From improved camera hardware to enhanced ProVisual Engine, the Galaxy S25 Ultra gathers all the stunning camera features, and they are as follows:

The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s camera hardware:

First things first: the camera hardware. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera features have a significant camera hardware that consists of a primary sensor of 200MP (ISOCELL), a 10MP telephoto, a 50MP super-telephoto (ultra wide), and a 12MP selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the key highlight in the entire specifications is the 50MP ultra-wide as Samsung has finally ditched its old 12MP sensor.

Higher resolution videos: 8K recording all three lenses

Although the cameras of the Galaxy S25 Ultra already offer certain stunning details that are significantly crisp and have less noise. Now, Samsung has upgraded the camera quality when recording videos. It can record 8K @30fps with its main camera, ultra-wide, and 50MP telephoto camera; however, users will not be able to switch between these cameras when recording videos at 8K. 

Improved Expert RAW with 200MP

Now, with 200MP RAW mode, the Galaxy S25 Ultra brings a new and much improved Expert RAW mode which is significantly much better than the S24 Ultra as it was only limited to 50MP.

Enhanced camera’s ProVisual Engine and Log video mode

Samsung has impressively increased the quality of image processing by integrating a nice and much improved ProVisual Engine algorithm into not only Galaxy S25 Ultra but also in the other Galaxy S25 and S25+ units as well. This newest mechanism certainly implements AI to process each frame for higher details, less noise, and wider yet deeper colors. 

Alternatively, now with the new Log Video mode added within the entire S25 series allows users to shoot videos and then change or adjust colors later without losing any single detail when editing. However, users can easily record using the new Log Video in both the Video and Pro Video modes. 

The 10-bit HDR shooting mode is available by default

While the HDR mode allows to spread and display of true colors in every lighting condition, Samsung now lets users continue to record videos in 10-bit HDR mode by default which transforms videos into 4x vibrant colors to offer an immersive experience in every lighting environment.

Portrait Studio is improved

With the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung introduced a more improved yet better Portrait Studio that provides users with a personalized avatar that consists of more real-time facial expressions, while also allowing users to transform their portrait photos into 3D Cartoons, Comics, Sketch, or watercolor via generative AI. 

Newly-added Feature: Filters 

To convert the captured images and videos into a movie-like aesthetic, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series now features a new Filter option that provides analog-style filters.

Apart from this, the Galaxy S25 even lets users choose an alternate picture of that particular moment if the original photos get blurred or the expressions don’t seem nice with the help of the Choose Best face option when recording a short motion video a few seconds before and after hitting the shutter button.
