Samsung Galaxy S25 series is just a few days away from hitting the retail outlets globally, which is scheduled for 7th February. Meanwhile, reviewers who have been testing the Galaxy S25 units before anyone else have given the feedback that the S25 series’ Ultra model has comparatively lower brightness than the S24 Ultra when set at the maximum level.

Meanwhile, Samsung got this topic covered as well! Here’s what the company demonstrated via the community forum.

If Galaxy S25 Ultra Max Brightness Feels Lower than S24 Ultra – Here’s Why?

Well, to enhance the overall functionality and experience, Samsung has performed various improvements in the newest Galaxy S25 series units on the basis of user feedback. The same goes with the Galaxy S25 lineup’s display as well. Although the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s display is extremely bright, it’s sharp and grainy at the same time.

Thus, to avoid this situation, Samsung says that it has tuned down slightly the display of the Galaxy S25 series’ smartphones that will help users to have a more comfortable viewing experience. Due to this, users may notice a difference in the colors of the display as compared to the previous models.

Alternatively, Samsung further provides more customizable options for natural display settings that will help to enhance users’ satisfaction and preferences. Also, in case you are satisfied with the default colors of the display, users will be able to adjust the Vividness slider bar by using the following track:

Settings >> Display >> Screen mode >> tap Vivid >> Advanced Settings >> adjust the Vividness slider bar.

Apart from this, do note that if the user selects the Natural option under the screen mode settings, or if Eye Comfort Shield or Adaptive Color Tone has been enabled in the Display settings, users will not be able to adjust the vividness option because the Advanced Settings option will disappear from the settings menu. Therefore, to use the Vividness option, you need to turn off all the above-mentioned options.
