Samsung to Integrate AI for Smarter Health Monitoring

Samsung Electronics is expanding its methods to enhance users’ health monitoring experiences by introducing Health AI.
The Korean tech giant is leveraging AI technology to upgrade its health solutions to be better and more personalized. Recently it held a Tech Forum to discuss how health AI can add an extra layer of advancement in health monitoring.
The forum sheds light on the various applications of AI, including sleep tracking, blood glucose monitoring, and overall health management. The Korean tech brand is working on introducing a new feature called Energy Score based on AI to analyze several health indicators and offer users a comprehensive view of their well-being.
Health experts at a Samsung forum stated that we have uncountable health data, but it’s disintegrated. They stressed the need to integrate this data for a detailed picture of someone’s health, especially sleep data, which is key to overall well-being. The discussion also delved into the significance of incorporating new health metrics and continuously monitoring them.
Samsung is also focusing on blood glucose monitoring as a key health metric, and it has built tools, for instance, CGM-integrated nutrition coaching and non-invasive glucose tracking. The aim behind this is to offer proactive healthcare solutions that bring down the burden of healthcare on individuals and society.
We also discussed how AI can transform tracked health data into actionable and meaningful insights. The company is also developing an AI-based “Energy Score” to simplify complex health data. It remains to see exactly how Health AI will enhance the health monitoring experience.
