
Samsung is gearing up to debut its next-generation foldable smartphone in the H2 2025 including Galaxy Z Fold 7 which is anticipated to bring a massive camera upgrade and more notable enhancements as compared to its predecessor.
The Korean tech giant is supposed to debut a seventh-generation foldable series, including Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Apart from these two devices, one more device is in the pipeline; Galaxy Z Flip FE, to debut this year.
Samsung with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 will introduce notable upgrades as compared to its predecessor; Galaxy Z Fold 6, especially in camera setup. A reliable tipster, Anthony, shared a post on X, revealing what’s new is coming with the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
According to the tipster, the company will offer a massive upgrade in the camera setup of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 as it could feature a 200MP main camera, whereas its predecessor Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 50MP. Another notable improvement is faster 45W charging support over 25W of Galaxy Z Fold 6. It is also reported to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset.
Apart from these two notable upgrades, there are more changes the company will offer with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 to enhance user experience, including a bigger, higher resolution, & more efficient display, and reduced crease. It will feature a bigger vapor chamber, an improved hinge louder speaker, a newly designed S-Pen to enhance the writing experience, and better water & dust resistivity.
Although Samsung has yet to reveal the official specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, it remains to see exactly what new novelties the device will bring.
