WhatsApp is testing two utility features for Android users

The instant messaging application WhatsApp appears to be working on a few new features, including a call menu for chats and groups, and sticker photos for status. Meanwhile, now these features are currently available for a few beta testers.
Specifically, WhatsApp will soon be adding a new redesigned menu (2.25.5.21 version) that is supposed to be a unified version of the call menu. This certainly replaces the previous two separate buttons of initiating voice and video calls; however, now, users will have greater control over their calls, thus making them choose specific participants in groups calls, reducing the hustle to automatically calling all members of the group.

Alternatively, WhatsApp further adds A Sticker Photo feature (2.25.5.20 version number) that will let users add multiple photos in a single status update using the newly added content sticker.

Ditching the older way to significantly share a bunch of pictures via status updates separately, this newest feature will allow users to simply create an overlay of sticker photos onto their single status update whether it’s picture or video-based content, just similar to what happens on Instagram. Also, the stickers can be easily resized and moved from one place to another for a creative user experience.
Moreover, WhatsApp is allowing a few beta testers to test out both the separate call menu for chats and groups, and sticker photos features, while these new functions will soon begin rolling out to even more Android users over the next coming weeks so users need to wait.
