Samsung to introduce first Bone Conduction Earphones in the next Galaxy unpacked

Samsung is planning to expand its smart yet wearable earphones lineup by introducing innovative Bone Conduction Earphones this year.
Recently, it was reported that Samsung is working on next-generation affordable earbuds; Galaxy Buds FE 2, and now a new report suggests that one more innovation is in the pipeline to debut this year.
A new report from a Korean blog revealed that Samsung will debut its ever-first Bone Conduction earphones at the next Galaxy Unpacked event which is supposed to be held in the early second half of the year. According to the report, the forthcoming audio product is codenamed “Able.”
The Bone Conduction technology directly transmits sound to the inner ear, instead of vibrating near the eardrum and it uses the bones of the skull & bypasses the eardrum and outer ear. Reportedly, the company is expected to produce nearly 1.7 million units of the new “Able” earphones this year, which is approximately 15% of the MX Division’s annual earphone shipments.
It remains to see whether the company will introduce the coming Bone Conduction Earphones into any existing Galaxy Buds lineup or debut a new audio product series. However, Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding this leak, it will be interesting to see if this report will come into existence.
